This piece is crafted on the Platinum Izumo fountain pen base, combined with the handcrafted natural urushi techniques of Taiwanese lacquer artisan Kun-Yang, showcasing the pinnacle of contemporary artisanal pen craftsmanship.


The pen features a warm brown-yellow foundation, evoking the natural tonal layers and grain texture of aged birch wood. Scattered silver leaf resembles gentle shafts of light filtering through a forest canopy—softened and diffused as if absorbed by the wooden surface, giving subtle movement to the serene palette.


Touches of pale grey-green appear like the seasonal moss marks and tonal variations found on real birch bark—unforced, unobtrusive, yet enhancing the authenticity of the wood-like texture.
