The Wood Series Bocote Vacuum Filler is crafted from rare Bocote wood, renowned for its striking, interlocking grain of gold and black. With time and use, the wood’s luster will deepen and become more mellow, developing a unique patina and warmth tailored to your touch.

Fine Writing International has overcome technical limitations to integrate a high-capacity vacuum filling system within the warm wooden barrel. This design features a clear ink window, allowing you to monitor ink levels at a glance, and is finished with exquisite metal accents and a precision-balanced design for a superior writing experience.

Instructions for Vacuum Pressure Model

How to Fill:

  1. Unscrew the blind cap and submerge the nib completely in the ink.

  2. Press the plunger at the end of the pen 4 to 5 times to fill the reservoir.

  3. Wipe the nib clean and screw the blind cap back on to begin writing.

Changing Ink Colors or Brands:

  1. Unscrew the blind cap and press the plunger repeatedly to expel any remaining ink.

  2. Submerge the nib in clean water and repeat the pumping action several times until the water runs clear.

  3. Follow the standard filling instructions to add your new ink.

Storage and Maintenance:

  1. For long-term storage, please drain all ink and flush the pen with clean water several times. Ensure the nib is wiped dry before putting it away.
